🚤 Boat Sales Professional – Full Time (Commission-Based)
**Pro Marine | Palmetto, FL**
**Pro Marine in Palmetto, Florida is growing, and we’re looking to expand our sales team with an experienced Boat Sales Professional.** We specialize in outboard boats with a strong focus on NEW Sea Hunt Boats from 21'-30'.
This is an opportunity for someone who understands the boating lifestyle, knows the Tampa Bay waterways, and can confidently guide customers through both the boat-buying process *and* the on-the-water experience.
Position Overview
This is a **full-time, commission-based sales position** with strong earning potential for motivated professionals who enjoy being hands-on and customer-focused.
Compensation & Benefits

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Have **prior boat sales experience**
* Be confident **driving boats** and conducting on-water demos
* Be experienced with **loading boats on and off trailers at the boat ramps**
* Be willing to be **hands-on**, assisting with boat prep alongside our prep team
* Have **excellent phone and follow-up skills**
* Possess strong **local knowledge of Tampa Bay waterways**
* Understand **inshore and offshore fishing**
* Be able to sell the **boating lifestyle**, especially to family boaters:
* Intracoastal cruising
* Waterfront restaurant stops
* Sandbar anchoring and island hopping
* Be available to work **4–6 boat shows per year**
A Huge Plus
* Ability to **market boats online**, including:
* Social media platforms
* Classified websites and digital marketplaces
* Comfortable creating or assisting with basic listings, posts, and customer outreach
Ideal Traits
* Self-motivated and goal-driven
* Professional, outgoing, and trustworthy
* Strong communication skills
* Comfortable working weekends and peak boating seasons
* Passionate about boating and the water lifestyle
