Designed by Fred Hudson and engineered by A.W. "Mac" Mackerer, the 38 Commander was a pioneering masterpiece - celebrated as one of Chris-Craft's very first large-scale, all-fiberglass inboard cruisers. This particular vessel is presented in good condition, blending timeless retro mid-century styling with the structural integrity that made this model famous worldwide. Unlike modern production boats, early Chris-Craft Commanders were over-engineered with incredibly thick, solid-fiberglass modified-V hulls. Built to take on heavy water with ease.
