Lightly used and freshwater sailed, this performance sport keelboat has been cared for and stored on either its trailer or a HydroHoist lift throughout its life.

Designed for exciting performance while remaining easy to trailer and launch, the J/70 features a fractional sloop rig with an all-carbon mast and boom, a retractable carbon fiber bowsprit, and a lifting keel that allows for convenient ramp launching. With the keel retracted, the draft is just 1.5 feet for trailering, while extending to 4' 9" for exceptional sailing performance. A small crane for raising and lowering the keel is included.

Powering the boat around the marina or to and from the launch ramp is a Torqeedo Travel 1103 CS 520W electric outboard, providing thrust comparable to a 3 HP gasoline engine while offering quiet, clean operation.

The sail inventory includes one mainsail, three jib sails, and two masthead asymmetrical spinnakers. One spinnaker is equipped with a sleeve/snuffer, while the second features a Profurl Spinex 0.9 top-down furling system for easy handling.

Performance information is readily available thanks to the included Velocitek SpeedPuck GPS, providing both speed and heading information in a simple, battery-powered display.

At 22 feet 9 inches in length with an impressive 11-foot cockpit, the J/70 offers plenty of room for racing with a crew or enjoying spirited day sailing. Weighing just 1,750 pounds with 628 pounds of ballast, it delivers the responsive handling and exciting performance that have made the J/70 one of the world's premier one-design sailboats.
